Young midfielder Jamie Spencer has signed a new contract ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The dynamic midfielder initially joined on loan from Huddersfield Town in March 2017, impressing enough to earn a permanent move in the summer.
He made 45 appearances in all competitions last season, establishing himself as a key player with his combative style and energy.
During his first full season with the club, Spencer opened his account in senior football after netting in a 4-1 rout of Blyth Spartans in November 2017.
The 20-year-old becomes the fourteenth player to commit to Avenue for the 2018/19 season.
