We’re pleased to confirm the retention of Adam Haw for the 2026-27 season.
Haw started his career at Guiseley AFC, before spells with Mickleover FC, Atherton Collieries, and Pontefract Collieries, where he caught the attention of many around the region for his clinical finishing and relentless work rate.
The talented striker joined former boss Craig Rouse at Cleethorpes Town in the summer of 2024 and quickly became a key figure in their promotion-winning side, scoring 20 goals in 49 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign, followed by four goals in 14 matches last season.
In a statement of intent, with the support of fans’ donations and the Development Fund, Craig Elliott swooped to sign Haw to add a different dimension to Avenue’s attack for the final run-in. During his five-month spell at the Horsfall, the 24 year old impressed with his tireless energy and scored eight goals to help push Bradford into the playoff mix.
Speaking on his return in the green and white for next season, Haw is pleased to be part of the squad for the 2026-27 campaign:
“I’m really happy to be continuing my BPA journey for another season. It was such a shame how the season ended but it gives everyone hunger to go that one step further and gain promotion. I can’t wait to see the Green Army fans soon… up the Avenue!”
Bradford manager Craig Elliott is looking forward to seeing Haw back in action at the Horsfall:
“Adam is a proven striker at this level over the past few seasons. He has consistently scored goals and helped teams to promotion and secure playoff positions. He has a great work rate and although his season was disrupted with injury, he contributed a lot to us in the final few months and he’ll be a big player for us, next season.”
Everyone at the Club would like to welcome Adam back to the Horsfall Community Stadium and look forward to seeing him doing what he does best in an Avenue shirt; scoring goals!
