Bradford (Park Avenue) Sports Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Humayun Islam as the Foundation and Club’s new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) Consultant.
Humayun brings with him a wealth of experience in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across sport and community projects. At our recent home match against Ossett United, Humayun was welcomed to Horsfall where he gave a speech in the Hospitality Suite, outlining his vision for supporting the Club and Foundation’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity.
Alongside his new role with Bradford (Park Avenue), Humayun holds several senior positions within sport and community development. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Bradford City FC Community Foundation, is a Non-Executive with West Riding FA, and a Non-Executive Director at Lancashire Cricket Foundation.
His appointment underlines our commitment to embedding ED&I at the heart of everything we do. From our work in the community to the matchday experience at Horsfall Community Stadium, our aim is to ensure that Avenue continues to be a space where all individuals feel valued, respected, and supported.
Humayun will work closely with both the Foundation and the Club to build on existing initiatives and develop new opportunities to strengthen inclusivity across all areas of our work. His guidance and expertise will play a vital part in shaping how we grow as a truly community-driven club.
We are excited to welcome Humayun into the Green Army family and look forward to the positive impact he will bring to our ongoing journey.
