We can today confirm the signing of Connor Shanks, who has agreed terms on a new deal until the end of the 24/25 season.
Shanksy previously played in Green & White last season while here on loan from Spennymoor Town, making 9 appearances and scoring once.
He was born in Halifax, and came through the ranks at Huddersfield Town before joining Bradford City’s Academy in 2017.
He made his senior debut in the EFL Trophy for the Bantams in September 2017, before returning to the Terriers after his contract ended.
While at Spennymoor Shanks made 10 appearances, scoring off the bench against Darlington and a last-gasp equaliser vs Scarborough.
First Team Head Coach Danny Whitaker had this to say;
“Another superb signing, we all know Connor from his loan spell with us, he’ll add another dimension to our midfield with his energetic runs and clever play,
“I believe he’s got a lot more levels to progress too which is exciting for us as a club and he’s got the hunger to succeed which is what we’ll need within the group as a whole.”
