Everyone at the club is sorry to hear that our dedicated volunteer and long time supporter, “Mad” Pete is in hospital following an accident yesterday evening.
The club has received a number of calls throughout yesterday evening and today to wish him well. Having spoken to Pete today, we can confirm he remains in good spirits and would like to thank all those who have sent him their best wishes.
Pete has operated the turnstiles at the Cemetery Road end of the Horsfall Stadium for a number of years, as well as helping out in other various capacities.
