Having drawn level on points with Tuesday’s hosts, 3rd placed Spennymoor Town, Bradford will be looking to close the gap on fellow title chasers this weekend as Bower’s men head to mid table Southport.
With 8 league games left to the end of the season, there’s a total of 24 points up for grabs, enough to propel Avenue into the top spot should other results go in their favour.
Southport will come into this weekends game hoping to return to winning ways following their 1-0 defeat to Leamington last weekend.

Following on from the recent extension of Conor Branson, Bradford (Park Avenue) have moved to bring in another young player who has followed a similar pathway through the American University System.
Midfielder Lewis Rathbone joined the club last week and is training with the squad whilst awaiting his international clearance from the FA.

A product of Blackpool’s academy, 23-year-old playmaker Charles is crucial for Southport. He joined the club in January 2018 after spending the first half of the 2017/18 season in Yorkshire with F.C Halifax Town. The former Fleetwood Town and AFC Fylde man has also represented Northern Ireland at youth level.

1. Order online – this option is simple, quick and secure and allows supporters to buy their match ticket on their mobile phone.
When the turnstiles open at 2pm, fans can then show their ticket on their phone for scanning.
Alternatively a PDF from the confirmation email can be printed and scanned.
2. Pay in person – supporters can still pay cash on the day of the game, but will have to queue at the Club Shop at the Home end of Haig Avenue to purchase a ticket before going to the turnstile.
