Current Vacancies – Customer Care Manager

Location: Horsfall Community Stadium

Hours Of Work: 30 from 5 days

Start Date: Immediately

A role that requires firm, focused and friendly customer care skills, creative verbal and written talent (familiarity with FB and Twitter usage) and sound organisational experience.

We are looking for someone who can create, organise and deliver entertaining events in our hospitality suite and club house, from initiation to delivery, caring for the fabric and security of the venue, the quality of service and a profitable outcome.

Along with these responsibilities goes a requirement to deliver the same standard of customer focus on our matchdays for a critical sporting public and a much larger number of customers in a stadium with multiple retail opportunities.

You need to understand each facility and be able to throw yourself into creating an experience where folk want to spend and be entertained by the quality of the service and products offered.

You will be working alongside the stadium manager, employees and volunteers to deliver all this, so need a flexible approach to encouraging our team to deliver their best.

It will help if you have excellent communication skills, bar, food and retail selling experience, detailed organisational skills and boundless energy.

You will need a flexible approach to working hours as the events side will be mostly evening hours and matchdays are often alternate Saturday afternoons and occasional Monday nights.

It is important to safely secure company and stadium assets and take full responsibility for cash handling, where necessary.

The job is initially offered as a 30 hour a week role, but successful delivery could take this to 40 hours. It is an opportunity to hone and develop your experience in customer care in a challenging environment.

Current Vacancies – Weekend Retail Assistant

Position Overview:

The weekend shop assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store during weekends. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

– Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

– Assist customers in finding products and provide product information.

– Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and satisfactory manner.

– Maintain a clean and organized store environment.

2. Sales and Merchandising:

– Promote and upsell products to customers.

– Maintain proper stock levels on the shop floor.

– Replenish merchandise and ensure correct pricing and labeling.

– Assist in creating attractive displays to enhance product visibility.

– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.

3. Cash Handling:

– Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions securely.

– Accurately count cash at the beginning and end of each shift.

– Follow store procedures for cash handling and maintain transaction records.

4. Store Operations:

– Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise deliveries.

– Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the store manager.

– Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization.

– Follow all safety and security protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred although full training will be given

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.

– Knowledge of products and their features.

– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.

Working Hours:

The weekend shop assistant position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts may vary depending on the store’s operating hours and will be communicated in advance.
