We can today confirm that the Club have mutually agreed to terminate Simon Richman’s contract, following discussions earlier this week.
During those discussions, Simon informed the Club that due to personal reasons, playing football was not a priority for him. We wish Simon all the best, and thank him for his time in the Avenue shirt.
In light of this news, Avenue have acted quickly, and we can confirm the non-contract signing of Reward Mwakona.
The 25-year old Mwakona joins with a wealth of experience, including time at Morecambe, Larne in Northern Ireland, and Airbus in Wales.
