We’re pleased to welcome back Steve Dickinson, as the First Team Goalkeeper Coach.
The former Avenue stopper, returns for a second spell to mentor Declan Lambton and Lucas Jones, after previously being with BPA under the leadership of Mark Bower and Danny Boshell. Having had an illustrious non-league career with Avenue, Kendal Town, Ossett Town, Guiseley AFC and Southport FC, ‘Dicko’ is a well-known figure in the local area for developing goalkeepers and being part of successful squads.
Since leaving Guiseley AFC, Dickinson has been involved with the England Veterans team and was part of the Senior World Cup winning squad in 2026, winning all their group games, plus the semi-final against Australia and the Final against France.
We’d like to welcome back Steve to the Horsfall Community Stadium, and wish him all the very best during his time with the Club.
