A former Barnsley academy player, he’s known for his pace, work rate and relentless attacking support down the right.
After recovering well from an AITFL injury, he’s set to return strongly for pre-season.
Jameel Ible
A tall and commanding centre-back, Ible strengthens Avenue’s defence with his physical presence and aerial ability.
His non-league journey includes spells at Guiseley, Scarborough, Whitby Town and Pontefract Collieries.
A Saint Kitts and Nevis international, Jameel’s experience is an asset at both ends of the pitch.
Connor Brown
Experienced right-back Brown joined Avenue to add Football League and non-league pedigree to the squad.
A Sheffield lad, he came through Sheffield United’s academy before spells with Oldham Athletic, Carlisle United and Barrow.
Connor’s reliable defending and know-how boost Avenue’s options at the back this season.
Connor Shanks
Shanks joined Avenue permanently in May 2024 after a successful loan spell the previous November.
A product of Bradford City and Huddersfield Town, he’s known for his creative spark and eye for goal.
He netted five times in 15 appearances last season and is ready to build on that this term.
Louie Chorlton
A dynamic winger who loves to get forward, Louie rejoins Avenue after a standout season at Pontefract Collieries.
He made 44 appearances last term, scoring five goals, and also played six games on loan at Avenue in 2022/23.
A Rochdale academy graduate, Louie brings direct running and energy to Avenue’s flanks.
Marcus Carver
Carver brings proven quality up front with experience at Accrington, Chorley, Southport and Scunthorpe.
Known for his strength and work rate, he also had a loan spell at Ashton United during 2024/25.
Marcus will lead the line with power and presence as Avenue chase goals this term.
Luke Parkin
Parkin arrived ahead of 2025/26 after netting 12 goals in 44 games for Emley AFC last season.
The creative forward came through Leeds United’s academy and has featured for Farsley Celtic, Guiseley and Silsden.
Luke’s eye for a pass and ability to finish add valuable craft to the Avenue attack.
