The Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Lewis Sale as the new Media Operations Manager and Acting Club Secretary.

Bringing 15 years of experience in the media and communications, he has worked for nationwide organisations within industries such as financial, logistics and food, as well as the public sector.

He will oversee the media output, working with key partners, staff and volunteers, including, but not limited to, redeveloping its website, increasing the Club’s social media presence, editing the matchday programme, and finding new ways to improve its coverage of the Club.

Importantly, he will also support the First Team setup as their secretary, throughout the week and on matchdays.

Speaking on his appointment, Sale said:

“I’m proud to join Bradford (Park Avenue), it’s an honour to represent this historic club. This place is close to my heart, having volunteered since 2011. It has character and a growing community spirit, so being trusted to tell its story, excites me.

My focus will be strengthening the way we present ourselves across all digital platforms, making sure our valued fans feel connected and engaged, whilst attracting a new generation of support to the Horsfall Community Stadium. I want our coverage to reflect the passion and hard work that goes into the Club, every day. I’m excited to get started, there’s a lot of work to do, but I’m confident through excellent working relationships with staff, volunteers and key partners, collectively, we can reach our potential at BPA.”

Sporting and Executive Director; Thomas McStravick, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Lewis to the club in a full-time capacity. He is well known to our loyal supporters and, of course, is a passionate fan himself. His enthusiasm, commitment and broad range of skills will be a real asset as we continue to strengthen and develop the club off the pitch.

This appointment represents another positive investment by the club and demonstrates our commitment to building a strong, resilient and forward-thinking organisation, both on and off the pitch.”
