Brown remains at BPA

The Club are pleased to announce Connor Brown will remain at Bradford (Park Avenue) for the 2026-27 season.

The experienced defender brings a wealth of experience from his time in the Football League and non-league and has put pen to paper to work with manager Craig Elliott at the Avenue for another campaign.

Born in Sheffield, Brown began his career in the Sheffield United Academy, turning professional in 2011. Although he didn’t break into the Blades’ first team, he went on to make a name for himself with spells at Oldham Athletic, Carlisle United, and Barrow in the Football League. He has also spent time in non-league with clubs such as Guiseley AFC, York City, Buxton, Ilkeston Town and Spalding United.

Speaking on his new deal, Brown is keen to go one step further next season:

“The way the season ended gives us more fuel to attack the new season, from the off, and do our very best to get the job done this year.”

Knowing the qualities and experience Brown gives to the Avenue, manager Craig Elliott is happy to see the defender return to West Yorkshire:

As a very experienced player, Connor sets the standards on and off the pitch. We have worked together for a while so he knows what I expect. He is a brilliant defender and is one of our leaders that gets the best out of other players in the squad.”

Everyone at BPA is pleased to see Connor return to the Horsfall, it wouldn’t be the same without you! We wish you the best of luck for next season.
