Unfortunately the clubs appeal despite being detailed has been rejected by the FA disciplinary appeal board. They felt that the quality of the footage meant that they couldn’t clearly see that there had been an obvious mistake by the match day referee.
Whilst we are desperately disappointed in the findings, we accept the final decision. Matty will now serve his 3 match ban.
