Fox signs

The Club is pleased to confirm the signing of Robbie Fox, subject to league and FA approval.

Fox, who is well-known to the Green Army during his time with local neighbours Silsden AFC, Farsley Celtic and Albion Sports, joins BPA for the 2026-27 season.

The attacker, who can play in a number of positions across the forward line, spent last season with NPL Premier Division outfit Ilkeston Town, scoring five league goals which contributed to a comfortable mid-table finish for the Robins.

The talented 24 year old is excited for the new challenge that lies ahead:

“I can’t wait to get going. The manager has wanted to sign me for a while so when that happens, you feel wanted which made it an easy decision to join BPA. I’m looking forward to adding some assists for the lads and scoring goals to hopefully help us get promoted.”

Craig Elliott has finally secured one of his long-term targets and is pleased to get his man:

“Robbie is another local lad who can play in a variety of attacking positions. I’ve kept an eye on him for a few seasons and I know his manager at Ilkeston Town (Ian Deakin) rates him highly. He has an eye for goal and with the amount of experience he’s got at his age, this is the perfect time for Robbie to have a consistent season playing games and scoring goals.”

Everyone at the Club welcomes Robbie to the Horsfall Community Stadium and wish him luck at BPA.

We’d like to thank the generosity of our supporters, who continue to make valuable donations, and the ongoing support of the Development Fund to help Craig and his team build a competitive squad for next season. You can watch Robbie in action with a 2026-27 season ticket, which can be bought from the club shop every Wednesday between 5pm-8pm. As a club who relies heavily on volunteers, we’re sure you’ll appreciate there is limited availability of people being able to offer their time. But, there will be more opportunities to buy season tickets and merchandise soon. Your support is greatly appreciated.
