Introducing the Len Shackleton Bar – a brand‑new space celebrating one of football’s great entertainers.
Nestled inside the stadium, the bar blends modern comfort with rich club heritage. Supporters will step into a warm, family-friendly environment featuring green and white seating, a nod to the Avenue with vintage BPA shirts, and a Len Shackleton shirt, proudly displayed on the walls.
Striking images of Len Shackleton; the ‘Clown Prince of Soccer,’ bring the bar to life, creating a tribute to his flair, personality, and unforgettable impact on the game.
The bar has been fitted with TV screens with Sky Sports installed, showing key sporting events, including Premier League and EFL football matches during the week and at weekends.
When we have a home fixture, the Len Shackleton Bar will be open for business, and we invite all supporters, home and away, to enjoy this fantastic facility and watch the live game before the 3pm kick-off.
The bar will also host hospitality – at one side of the room, on matchday for sponsors, visiting officials and volunteers and supporters who pay for the privilege of enjoying our wonderful service by our valued food and beverage team.
After the final whistle, the Len Shackleton Bar will remain open for supporters to enjoy a post-match drink. In true non-league style, this will be the new place for players and coaching staff to congregate and is the new area to find out who has won the man of the match award.
