On Tuesday evening, we welcome dance group; Giants Elite, to the Horsfall Community Stadium.
The team are fundraising for the World Championships, in Orlando, Florida. A prestigious event, teams earn bids to secure entry by earning them at cheer competitions attended throughout the year.

Charley from the U14s Level 2, secured their bid to the Worlds in May when they attended an event hosted by Revolution Cheer. They competed at Revolution Carnival on 9 May 2026 at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester. Not only did they finish first in their division, but also won a choreography award for their routine and a bid to the Worlds. Charley has competed with Giants Elite from season six, and now in the thirteenth season, it’s her first bid and an opportunity of a lifetime to compete at this prestigious International competition. The group are going from strength to strength, including a recent investment into their facilities.
Charley is fundraising for the Worlds with her ‘Lime’ teammates for food, fuel, transportation and park tickets. She also needs to secure, where possible, personal sponsors for her to actually travel and compete, with costs expected to be £2,500 per athlete.
