Bradford (Park Avenue) are looking for local volunteers who have previously commentated, or who are looking to gain valuable experience in commentary, to cover our First Team games at the Horsfall Community Stadium and at select away games.

Bradford (Park Avenue) are pleased to announce the two signings of experienced Defender Jamie Sharman, who joins the Club on a deal until the end of the season, and Midfielder Bradley Williams, who joins on an initial 28-day loan from Harrogate Town.
Sharman started his career with Chesterfield, and was named as Academy Player of the Year in 2018/19, graduating that season to the First Team.
He enjoyed loan spells with Dover Athletic, Kidderminster Harriers and Blyth Spartans, while also making 12 National League appearances for Chesterfields First Team.
Jamie was released by Chesterfield in the Summer of 2021, joining Matlock Town.
While with the Gladiators, he became one of their most popular players, and was recognised twice at their awards night, winning Young Player of the Year & the Matlock Fans Forum Player of the Season.
All in all, Sharman made 82 appearances for Matlock, before being released last week.
Midfielder Brad Williams developed in Harrogate Town’s Academy, and made his first team debut in October 2021 in an EFL Trophy game vs Newcastle United u21s.
He made his league debut for the club in December 2022, in a 4-1 win at Rochdale.
Brad also enjoyed regular game time in Harrogate’s Academy, and was voted their Players’ Player of the Year award after he and his team won their league last season.
He also spent time out this season on loan with Darlington, where he made 4 appearances.

Jamie Sharman and Brad Williams are both available for selection immediately, and could feature in tomorrow’s opening game of the Big Avey Weekend, where we face FC United of Manchester, followed quickly by Marines’ visit to the Horsfall on Monday. Be there #Bradford!

We can today confirm that Goalkeeper Tom Scott & Midfielder Ted Lavelle have both agreed to extend their loans til the end of the 2023/24 season.
We’d like to thank FC Halifax Town for their help in getting this deal over the line.
We can also confirm the departure of Oli Johnson, after a mutual agreement late last week.
Oli has been a stalwart at the Club over the last 7 seasons, and we’d like to put on record our thanks for his incredible effort in Green & White.

We are happy to announce that Centre Midfielder Bosembo Namputu has joined today on a month long deal from Fleetwood Town.
The midfielder is available immediately and could make his debut tomorrow away at Morpeth
We can confirm the loan signing of Defender Ethen Vaughan on a 1 month deal with the Club, joining from Bootle.
Vaughan joins with recent experience at Marske, Guiseley and Farsley, but started his career with Norwich.
He made appearances in the FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy, and u18s Premier League, before moving to u21s level with Norwich, and later joining Burnley in August 2021.
While at Burnley, he gained loan experience out with Farsley Celtic in the 2022 season, and later transferred to Guiseley. In 2022 he joined Marske United, but left in August 2023, joining Bootle.
So far for Bootle, Vaughan has made 10 appearances, scoring once.

I would like to wish a Happy New Year to the Avenue family.
2023 was a very tough year for our first team but 2024 should be much better. At least our club is still financially viable unlike many other clubs in the country. It is strange that the UK allows the Premier league to spend huge amounts of money and fill the TV screens with games every day of the week while non-league clubs get absolutely no support for their community activities.
Despite this lack of support we soldier on. We have promoted Thomas and Calum to positions where they can take on more responsibility and we have hired Danny as a full time Head Coach which is a big step forward for us. Here’s to a good 2024.
As always we are grateful for our supporters and volunteers but particularly Neil, Ben and the Development committee. We are always in need of help around the club and would be delighted to hear from anyone whose New Years resolution is to volunteer for a worthy cause.
