Bradford (Park Avenue) are back on the road this weekend, with a trip to face Stalybridge Celtic in the FA Trophy First Round Qualifying (3pm).
It’s been a good start to the 2026-27 campaign for Craig Elliott’s side, who remain unbeaten in all competitions. Victories against Guisborough Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Mossley AFC (in the Emirates FA Cup) and Hallam FC, have seen the Avenue pick up nine points from nine available and a tie against Curzon Ashton in the Emirates FA Cup First Round Qualifying.
The goals have been shared amongst Bradford players, with Marcus Carver already netting five times, Robbie Fox notching three goals, plus Connor Shanks, Charlie Winfield and Scott Duxbury have scored one goal each.
The visitors; Stalybridge Celtic, remain a famous name within non-league and play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League West Division. The hosts have had a mixed start to the season, playing five games in the league and picking up seven points, winning twice, losing twice and drawing one game:

Managed by former Premier League striker Jon Macken, the Avenue’s opponents will be looking to get back to winning ways, but with a near full-strength squad for Craig Elliott to pick from, it will be a tough battle for both teams, as they look to progress into the FA Trophy Second Round Qualifying.
If the game is drawn after 90 minutes, the tie will be decided by penalties.

Match coverage
The best way to follow the Avenue is being there on the terraces. The management and players appreciate you travelling away from home in recent weeks, and it was great to hear the Green Army in fine voice at the Horsfall Community Stadium on Tuesday.
