We just wanted to give the fans a quick update on the serious head injury sustained by Mitch Lund during yesterday’s home game against Telford.
Mitch attended hospital yesterday evening, along with our physio Tally, to have an x-ray to find out the extent of the damage. The results show that Mitch has sustained multiple fractures of the area around his cheek and eye socket. The injuries are such that they will require an operation, which will take place tomorrow morning.
The whole club and squad would like to wish Mitch all the best for the operation, a speedy recovery and return to the first team as soon as possible. Good luck Mitch.
