We can today confirm that forward Will Longbottom has signed a new deal with Bradford (Park Avenue) until the end of the 23/24 season!

Will has been an important part of the team this year, playing in multiple positions where needed, and scoring 5 league goals so far in 29 appearances. He also scored in the FA Cup vs Ashington.

He has proved his goalscoring ability, opening the scoring in our first win vs Curzon Ashton, and providing plenty of assists for both Preston and Blyth.

ANGELL IN FOR MORE!

We are delighted to announce that we have agreed a deal with Sheffield United to extend Thomas Angell’s loan until January 3rd 2023.

Thomas first joined us on a youth loan from Championship side Sheffield United on October 7th, and has shown an immense amount of skill in a number of roles.

Angell has gelled well with the lads, never once looking out of place despite being such a young player.

He also made the Vanarama NL North Team of the Week from his first appearance v Curzon Ashton, and we hope to see his name pop up again over the remainder of his loan.

We are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Simon Richman!

Simon previously played at Altrincham FC and has a brilliant track record, winning awards at Port Vale, and signing on with Worcester City and then Altrincham in 2011 where he helped them win promotion out of the Conference North via playoffs in 2014 and winning the NPL title in 2017-18.

We spoke with gaffer Mark Bower about the appointment who had this to say:

“We are excited to get Simon in, with the injuries we have had in the centre of the park, we knew we had to act. Getting someone of Simon’s calibre in, with his experience and know how is a massive signing for us.

We are all thrilled to see what Simon can bring to the club. Stay updated on our twitter to see if he’ll be making his debut at the Gloucester City game today!
